Glamixup Event

A while back I have attended a very interesting event with Glambox Middle East. I have heard about subscription boxes a lot, but never have I tried it before… Simply because it was not available here, or so I thought...

I was really excited to attend this event and know more about the company and how subscription boxes work, and of course share my experience with you.

First, they have introduced us to the company, which is a global company that was recently introduced in Saudi after being in the UAE, and other countries in the Middle East for a while now.

The idea behind the box is to deliver the best and most sought after treats and treasures from the beauty world on a monlthy basis to your doorsteps by subscribing for SAR 93 per month. It’s a great way to keep up to date on seasonal make-up trends and test out hand selected products and samples by beauty experts.

At the event we got to create our own box, and choose from a variety of products available there. I have chosen my products according to what I have been recommended to use by friends and family, and some that I haven’t heard about, but seemed interesting to try.

Below you’ll find all of the products that I have chosen in my Glambox. If you have tried any of these, please tell me what you think in the comments below.

Last week I had the pleasure of attending an event at Etro boutique, to learn the history behind the brand, and demonstrate how bags are made at Etro by handcrafting a bag live in front of us, which I personally found fascinating!

For those who aren’t familiar with brand, or its history. Etro is an Italian fashion house founded in 1968, and was first started as a textile design company that produces fabric to other Ready-to-wear brands.

Mr. Etro, the man behind it all, had a fascination with rare antique scarves and shawls, mesmerized by their precious workmanship, impeccable detail and singular patterns, which led him to create the famous Etro Paisley, that has become a house signature reflecting the company’s repute for quality, functionality and innovation since its debut over 30 years ago.

Etro now produces men and women Ready-to-wear, leather goods, eye-wear, footwear, jewelry, accessories, fragrances and home accessories.

What makes Etro unique is their use of highly prestigious fabrics using only noble and natural fibers, embellished with original designs and innovative colors, coming from a textile background helped! I also loved the fact that it’s a family business, and Mr. Etro's children are running the company now.

Etro boutiques in Saudi Arabia are located at Kingdom Mall in Riyadh, and Khayyat Centre in Jeddah. You must visit the store, since winter is already at the door, and their printed cashmere scarves are the perfect it accessory for this winter!

I hope you enjoy it.....till next time xx
